Their source also details how men diagnosed with melanoma are 3 times more likely to die from it. 1.7 of 100,000 cases of melanoma are fatal in women. 4.1 of 100,000 cases are fatal in men, so saying three times more likely is a nice way of disguising that 4.1 of 100,000 is only a 0.0041% fatality rate.
Are these findings consistent with their attack on the indoor tanning industry? Why are we not looking for genetic, cultural, dietary, behavioral, and chemical markers?
